A plastic lens is approximately 50% lighter than a glass lens and can be easily tinted to any color if desired.

Polycarbonate

A polycarbonate lens is approximately 35% lighter and 25% thinner than a plastic lens. The lens is impact resistant which is great for kids and overall safety.

A Hi Index lens is designed for high prescriptions and is made from the thinnest, lightest material available.
